Common Pediatric Pelvic Issues

Bedwetting

Bedwetting can be very difficult to manage and can be especially embarrassing for your kids as they grow up. We break down all of the factors that could be contributing to your child's bedwetting and start their journey to dryness.

Constipation

Withholding stool is common in children and can lead to long-term bowel issues. We will discuss and address all of the factors that are required for healthy bowel habits with you and your child.

Bladder Control

Did you know that full bladder control is not expected until age 4? There are many developmental milestones that need to be achieved before we can expect continence. We place so much stress on potty-training our littles that it can lead to issues with control earlier than necessary.

How we approach your child's care

We, at Pittsburgh Pelvic Health, are very familiar with children's behaviors around toileting and bowel/bladder control.  We take a fun whole health approach to address diet, healthy behavior, and muscle function to ensure optimal management of your biggest concerns.  Our goal is to partner with you and your family for the best outcome!
